As a Senior (2018-19)

• ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week (2x)
• Closed out her career as the second winningest goaltender in program history with 56 wins.
• Finished the season with an overall record of 20-5-4. Her 20 wins was the sixth most in the nation.
• Boasted the best goals against average in ECAC Hockey with a mark of 1.64, which ranked second in the nation as well.
• Her .918 save percentage ranked seventh in the in the league.
• Registered six shutouts on the season thus far vs. Dartmouth (10/27), at Mercyhurst (11/11) and vs. St. Lawrence (11/30), Harvard (1/19), RPI (2/2), and Yale (2/16).
• Posted season-high 31 saves against Princeton (1/12)

As a Junior (2017-18)

• ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week (4x).
• Was the go-to goaltender during junior season, playing in every game but two to post a 21-7-3 record.
• Victory tally (21) tied for second in Cornell history in a single season.
• Saves total (652) ranks seventh.
• Overall winning percentage (.726) ranked ninth in the nation while goals against average of 1.76 was eighth.
• Tied for fourth in the country in shutouts with seven, the second most in a single season in program history.
• In ECAC Hockey play, winning percentage of .800 was third best while goals against average of 1.58 was fifth.
• Notched career-high 34 saves in 2-1 upset of Colgate (Dec. 1).
• Tallied two assists with first-career point coming in 2-0 victory over Dartmouth (Jan. 12).


As a Sophomore (2016-17)

• Split time in a two-goalie rotation and finished the year with a spot on the All-Ivy Second Team.
• Posted a 10-1-2 record to earn the nation’s second-best winning percentage at .846.
• Boasted the fourth-best goals against average in the country (1.52) and finished 18th overall in save percentage (.925) while her 1.28 goals against average in league play was second overall.
• Earned her first career shutout with a 13-save performance in a 4-0 win over Brown on Nov. 11 and then earned her second on Jan. 27 with another 13-save outing in a 1-0 win over Dartmouth.
• Made 29 saves in a 2-1 upset of eventual-National Champion Clarkson on Jan. 20, owning the longest shutout against the Golden Knights in the 2016-17 season (54:54).


As a Freshman (2015-16)

• Solid option in net in her rookie season, earning five wins in six decisions.
• Picked up her first win in a 5-2 victory over Syracuse on Nov. 14, making 19 saves.
• In the Windjammer Classic, she backstopped the Big Red to a 4-2 statement win over Boston University on Nov. 28 and was named to the All-Tournament Team for her efforts.
• Entered the game in relief on Jan. 8 at Harvard, making 16 saves and holding the Crimson off the board for the final 37:37 of the contest.
• Helped Cornell to crucial conference wins over Yale (Jan. 15), Union (Jan. 29) and Brown (Feb. 12), making a career high 31 stops against the Bears.
• Lone loss on the season came in her collegiate debut to national powerhouse Boston College.


Before Cornell

• Team MVP during final season playing for Rothesay Netherwood in New Brunswick.
• For Team Canada, was a part of the silver medal team at the 2015 IIHF U-18 Women’s World Championships and was a member of Team New Brunswick at the 2015 Canada Games, while also serving as the lantern bearer.
• Received top goaltender honors at the U-18 Canadian National Championship while playing for the Atlantic team, and was named to the all-tournament team at the 2014 Female World Sport School Challenge.
• In school, earned high proficiency graduating honors, the Highest Commitment to Athletics Prize and the Biology Prize.


Personal

• Marlène Boissonnault is the daughter of Jacques and Sylvie Boissonnault, and has three brothers and two sisters.
• She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
