Biography

At Cornell: Randolph is a promising cover corner who could earn playing time as a sophomore with a year of college football under his belt. He has good instincts and the speed to stay with the league’s top receivers, and is more than athletic enough to make up for his size (5-9, 165 pounds). Randolph was a big-play defensive back on the junior varsity a season ago. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.

At Columbia: The team’s most valuable defensive player two straight years at Columbia HS, Randolph was a second-team all-area and honorable mention All-Coast pick as a senior. Randolph closed out his career with 54 tackles, six interceptions, five pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery as a senior. The three-year letter winner on the gridiron also lettered twice in baseball.

Personal: Aaron Deon Randolph is the son of Tommy and Athena Randolph and has an older brother and younger sister. His father played football at Dartmouth, while his brother, Cory, was a two-year starting quarterback at Wake Forest.
