Senior Season - 2008-09
DiLeo, a four-time honoree of the team's Wendell and Francelia Earle Award for having the highest grade point average in his class, made his second career appearance and first appearance at Lynah Rink on Senior Day against Union on Feb. 21. He came on for the final 1:25 of the game and made a save on the only shot he faced in the Big Red's victory over the Dutchmen.

Sophomore Season - 2006-07
DiLeo was the team's third goaltender as a sophomore and did not see game action.

Freshman Season - 2005-06
DiLeo missed a good portion of practice during the 2005-06 season due to injury and did not see game action.

Before Cornell
A National Honor Society member, DiLeo was the 2004-05 Wichita Falls Wildcats team MVP. In 2002-03, he led the Minnesota Junior Hockey League in goals against average and save percentage, and he was named to the All-MNJHL second team. Playing for the Fargo-Moorhead Jets, he won the John E. Carlson Community Service award in 2003-04 and was named Defensive Player of the Week at the NAHL/ESHL Showcase.

Personal
Daniel Robert DiLeo is the son of Tony and Julie DiLeo and has a younger sister. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
