Senior Season - 2008-09
Seminoff finished off his career as one of the top blue line options for the Big Red, appearing in all 36 games while tallying eight points on a goal and seven assists. He had an assist in both of the Big Red's games at North Dakota, assisting on Locke Jillson's first career goal on Nov. 28 before adding a helper on Michael Kennedy's short-handed strike the following night. He also assisted on Tyler Roeszler's first career goal in the 3-1 win over Dartmouth on Nov. 22. Seminoff had an assist to open the season on Nov. 7 against Princeton, assisting on Tyler Mugford's goal. Seminoff scored his only goal of the year on Jan. 23 against Yale, but scored the clinching goal in the shootout that gave the Big Red the Florida College Classic title over Colgate on Dec. 28.

Junior Season - 2007-08
Seminoff was a key part of the solid defensive corps as a junior, appearing in all 36 of the Big Red's games. He scored his only goal of the season in the Big Red's loss to Boston University at Madison Square Garden. For the season, Seminoff recorded four assists, with two of those coming in back-to-back games against Clarkson on Jan. 20 and Brown on Jan. 25. He also recorded an assist on Patrick Kennedy's second-period goal in the overtime win at Quinnipiac on Feb. 22. More importantly, he cut down on his penalty minutes for the third straight season, cutting his total from 40 in 2006-07 to 28 in 2007-08, despite playing in 13 more contests.
Sophomore Season - 2006-07
Seminoff was in the process of an outstanding sophomore season when a bout of mononucleosis sidelined him for eight games at the end of the year. Still, he was able to tally 15 points on a goal and 14 assists, tops among Cornell defensemen. At the time he got sick, he was leading all defensemen in ECAC Hockey with his 15 points. He recorded the first three-point game of his career with three assists in the win against Union on 12/2/06. His lone goal of the season came in the Big Red's loss to Maine in the championship game of the Florida College Classic. Despite missing eight games, he still finished the season with a +10 rating, the only player on the roster to reach double-digits.
Freshman Season - 2005-06
Seminoff had an outstanding season as a freshman in 2005-06, appearing in all 35 of the Big Red's contests and seeing extensive time on both the power play and penalty killing units. He scored seven points as a rookie on a goal and six assists.
Before Cornell
Seminoff was named to the SJHL rookie team in 2002-03 and won the Bantam AA Provincial championship in 2000. He also played four years of lacrosse at Athol Murray, where he was an honor roll student and was on the president's list. In 2004-05, he scored six goals and added 23 assists for 29 points while playing for the Nanaimo Clippers of the BCHL.
Personal
Jared John Seminoff is the son of Shawn and Michelle Seminoff. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
