Biography
Allie Fedorowicz Career Statistics
Fedorowicz became a full-time starter as a junior and found herself as one of the Big Red’s most productive offensive threats. A smart player with good shooting range, she is a pure shooter who also isn’t afraid to put the ball on the floor and drive to the hoop.
At Cornell
Fedorowicz was one of just three players to start all 26 games for the Big Red during the 2008-09 season. She ranked first on the team and 11th in the Ivy League with 11.4 points per game, while pulling down a respectable 3.8 rebounds per contest. A solid shooter, she connected on .371 percent from the floor, .303 from 3-point range and .826 from the free-throw line. She was the team’s second-leading 3-point shooter, ranking seventh in the conference with 1.8 treys per contest. Her 46 3-pointers made on the year was good for seventh in Cornell history for a single season and she enters her senior year ranked 10th overall in Big Red history with 94 career 3-pointers. Fedorowicz scored in double-figures 16 times during the year, including a career-high 25 points vs. Harvard on Feb. 28. She led the Big Red in scoring six times and posted the team-high in rebounds in two games. Fedorowicz posted the first double-double of her career with 18 points and a career-high 12 rebounds at Bucknell. She was also instrumental in Cornell’s 66-61 upset victory over Dartmouth on Feb. 27 when she scored 13 points, including the final four points of the game, and grabbed six rebounds. Fedorowicz saw action in all 29 games during her sophomore season, making 17 starts. She averaged 6.2 points per game and proved to be one of the best shooters on the team, connecting on .370 percent from the floor, .358 percent from beyond the arc and .893 percent from the charity stripe. Her 3-point field goal percentage was good for fourth on the team and ninth in the Ivy League. Fedorowicz scored in double-figures eight times during the season and led the team in scoring on two occasions. She scored a then career-high 14 points to lead the Big Red vs. St. Bonaventure and also scored a team-best eight points vs. No. 1 Connecticut in the first round of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament. Fedorowicz matched her season-high with 14 points, along with an assist, a steal and four rebounds against Princeton on March 8. Fedorowicz saw action in 19 games as a freshman, making six starts. She started her career with a bang as she connected on her very first 3-point attempt and finished the year by converting 41 percent (14-of-34) from 3-point range. The final game of the season proved to be Fedorowicz’s best of the year as she scored a season-high 13 points, grabbed four rebounds and came up with four steals in 35 minutes of action at Dartmouth on March 3. She also led the team in scoring with 10 points vs. Yale.
At St. Basil’s Academy
Fedorowicz lettered four times at St. Basil’s Academy where she served as team captain as a senior. During her prep career, she earned AACA all-star honors and was named third-team all-state, as well as a UPC all-star. She led her team to a District I championship in 2003, and both an AACA league championship and a PIAA AAA Eastern State championship in 2005.
Personal
Alice Mary Fedorowicz is the daughter of Joseph and Susan Fedorowicz and is enrolled in Cornell’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. She has a younger sister and her older brother, Joe, runs cross country and track for La Salle University.
