Standing at 6-4, Vlasic brings much needed height to the Big Red. A feisty competitor that saw solid time as a freshman, she has a nice shooting touch and an ability to face the basket and score from the perimeter.

At Cornell
Vlasic saw action in 24 games, making four starts and averaging nearly 12 minutes of playing time per contest. She finished her rookie season averaging 2.3 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. She also ranked third on the team with 10 blocked shots on the year. She led the team with a career-high 10 rebounds vs. Harvard on Feb. 28. One week later, she had one of her best games of the season with a career-best 10 points and six rebounds at Penn on March 6. 
 

A four-year varsity starter atCranbrook-Kingswood high school, Vlasic is a finesse 6-4 forward that will bring versatility and rebounding to the frontcourt next season. She was named to the All-Metro Conference first-team all four seasons and was an All-Area team selection following her junior and senior seasons. In 2006, she led her team to it’s first ever district championship, recording a double-double during the game, and earning her second consecutive All-Conference recognition in the process. Vlasic also lettered three times in lacrosse and was honored with the Michigan High School Athletic Association Scholar-Athlete Award this year for her outstanding performance in the classroom. 

Personal
Christine Elizabeth Vlasic is the daughter of James and Shari Vlasic and she has one older brother, two younger brothers and a younger sister. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
