At Cornell
A converted quarterback, Quinn has developed into an excellent safety, spending his first year as a starter in 2009. Quinn ranked second on the team with 92 tackles and added 3.5 tackles for a loss, a sack, an interception, two fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles. He also blocked a kick. Quinn made a career-high 16 stops against Dartmouth, one of six games in which he reached double figures in stops. He also posted 12 tackles against Harvard and 11 at Princeton and Penn. Quinn intercepted a pass in the win at Yale.  In 2008, Quinn earned his first varsity letter after playing in nine games as a reserve and on special teams. He ended the season with 14 tackles, including a career-high 10 at Columbia to go along with a tackle for loss. Quinn posted three tackles in his only varsity appearance as a freshman in 2007, making two solo stops and an assisted tackle in the win over Georgetown. Quinn is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.

At Avon Old Farms
A first-team All-New England pick at safety as a senior at Avon Old Farms School for Boys, Quinn was a five-year letter winner on the gridiron, playing for both Avon and St. Joseph Central HS. A varsity captain for the football, basketball and baseball teams his senior year, he was a first-team all-league quarterback at St. Joseph, leading the squad to a county title and a spot in the Super Bowl. He was part of a baseball team that reached the state finals and captured a Western Massachusetts title.
