One of the top athletes in the Ivy League, Wilkins is a high-flying forward who is a capable defender. Offensively, Wilkins has shown the ability to shoot the mid-range jumper or get into the lane and score in the paint. An excellent offensive rebounder who can also get out in the passing lanes on defense, Wilkins will continue to see time off the bench.

As a senior
Wilkins played in 16 games with one start, tallying 16 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, making five steals and blocking three shots in 61 minutes. He earned his first career start on Senior Day against Penn, posting four points, a rebound and two steals in four minutes. He scored six points, had five rebounds, a block and a steal against Bryant. Wilkins had a rebound and two steals in the victory at Columbia. He played in nine Ivy League contests during the season.

As a junior
Wilkins played in 16 games, scoring 13 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in 59 minutes of action. He also chipped in two steals. Wilkins scored six points and ripped down four rebounds while hitting 3-of-4 shots vs. Ursinus. He had two points and an assist in seven minutes vs. Boston University and grabbed two boards off the bench against St. John's. Wilkins finished a thunderous alley-oop dunk in the final minutes against Brown.

As a sophomore
Wilkins saw action in 27 contests, playing 6.8 mintues per game in 2007-08, and averaged 1.6 points and 1.1 rebounds per contest. The 6-5 forward shot 50 percent from the floor on 34 attempts and added three assists, nine steals and a blocked shot during the year. He made his Cornell debut in the season opener against Lehigh, pumping in nine points, six rebounds and two steals in 25 minutes off the bench. Wilkins also had six points and five rebounds against Army and notched a career-high 11 points on 4-of-4 shooting in just six minutes against Harvard to help the Big Red clinch the Ivy title.

At Blinn College
Wilkins averaged 10.1 points and 8.2 rebounds on 65.8 percent shooting from the floor and 76.3 shooting from the line as a freshman at Blinn College. He also averaged 1.1 steals per game in his 14 contests. Wilkins had 30 points and 12 rebounds, including going 12-of-12 from the floor, in a win over Palo Alto College, one of four double-doubles on the season. Blinn finished with a 14-14 record.

At Emery HS
A NIKE Canadian all-star, Wilkins was an all-region selection at Emery HS. Wilkins won the NIKE camp’s slum dunk contest and was also selected to represent Toronto in an all-star game against the best players in Michigan.

Andre Triston Wilkins is the son of Ermin Kelly-Wright and Henry Wilkins and has an older and younger brother. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
