In 2011-12 (senior)
Wroblewski, became the school's all-time career leader in assists (482) and a 1,000-point scorer (1,202 points - 13th all-time) as a senior en route to earning first-team All-Ivy League honors. A third-team Capital One/CiSIDA Academic All-American, Wroblewski led the team in scoring (11.5 ppg.) and was third in the Ivy League in assists (5.3 apg.) and second in steals (1.6 spg.). Wroblewski became just the second player in Cornell history to surpass 1,000 points, 400 assists, 300 rebounds and 100 steals, joining All-American and Ivy Player of the Year Louis Dale, his former backcourt mate. Wroblewski had 24 points and a career-high 11 rebounds in a win at Brown and nearly notched the program’s first-ever triple-double with 18 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds in the overtime win over Yale. He scored 10 points with seven rebounds, six assists and two steals against Boston University, going 8-of-8 from the free-throw line , including making all six in the final 30 seconds. Wroblewski hit the game-winning 3-pointer with 5.6 seconds left in overtime to lift the Big Red over Albany and had 21 points to go along with six assists vs. American. The senior co-captain scored 19 points, dished seven assists and grabbed four rebounds on Senior Day against Ivy champion Harvard. He ended his career ranked fourth in career 3-point field goals made (189), fifth in 3-point percentage (.414), ninth in free-throw percentage (.823), ninth in steals (139) and 10th in free throws made (279). His 119 games played ranked second all-time among Cornellians, and his 3,594 minutes played sits third.
In 2010-11 (junior)
A team tri-captain and third-team Capital One Academic All-American, he was named to the All-Ivy second team as he led the Big Red in scoring, assists and steals. He averaged 14.2 points, 5.7 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.5 steals while playing 32.7 minutes per game in 26 contests (24 starts). Wroblewski led the Ivy League in steals, while finishing sixth in scoring and second in assists. He also was second in the league in assist-turnover ratio (2.1) and hit 43 percent of his 3-point attempts (52-of-120) on the year, good for fourth in the league. He scored a career-high of 25 points to go along with five rebounds, five assists and four steals in a loss to St. Bonaventure, then topped that mark with 29 points to go along with four assists and two rebounds in a win over Stony Brook. He averaged 17.5 points, 9.0 assists and 4.5 rebounds in two contests at the VCU holiday tournament, dishing off a career-high 12 assists in addition to 21 points and five rebounds in the win over Southern Conference champion Wofford. Wroblewski scored 21 points, including the final five in regulation, in the overtime victory over Penn, then scored 14 points with four assists and four steals in a two-point loss to Princeton. He missed the first two contests of the season with an ankle injury.
In 2009-10 (sophomore)
Wroblewski earned honorable mention All-Ivy status as a sophomore after averaging 9.0 points, 3.2 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 0.9 steals while starting 32 of the team’s 33 games. The school’s career 3-point field goal percentage king shot 46 percent from beyond the arc, 44 percent from the field overall and 87 percent from the free-throw line. An ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District pick, Wroblewski averaged 17.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in three contests against Big East teams, including a 22-point, five-rebound, five-assist effort vs. Seton Hall. After leading the conference in 3-point percentage in conference games as a freshman, Wroblewski placed second this season after making 49 percent of his shots from beyond the arc (23-of-47).
In 2008-09 (freshman)
Wroblewski was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Year and was unfazed despite playing right away on a veteran championship team. He took over as the team's starting point guard three games into the season until Louis Dale returned from injury and continued to play a key role off the bench the rest of the season, averaging 25.6 minutes per game. For the year, Wroblewski averaged 6.7 points, 2.6 assists and 2.3 rebounds while adding 24 steals and a 1.6:1 assist-turnover ratio. His 45 percent shooting from 3-point range paced the Ivy League, while his assist total ranked 10th. Wroblewski was even better against league opponents, averaging 7.9 points, 2.7 assists, 2.8 rebounds and hitting 22-of-42 3-pointers, good for 52 percent. He earned two Ivy League Rookie of the Week awards during the season. The rookie was in double figures eight times and led the team in assists seven times. Wroblewski had a 17-point, seven-assist, three-rebound, two-steal effort in a win over Harvard. He also notched 11 points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals at Dartmouth and 13 points on 4-of-4 shooting and 2-of-2 from 3-point range in a win over Bucknell. He was exceptional against No. 16 Syracuse with nine points, four assists, three rebounds and just one turnover in 33 minutes at the Carrier Dome. His first double figure scoring game came in a 13-point effort to go along with five rebounds and three assists vs. Loyola-Chicago.
At Highland Park HS
Wroblewski was a McDonald’s All-America nominee as a senior at Highland Park HS, earning conference Player of the Year honors for his 22-6 squad. The third-team all-state selection averaged 17.9 points and 4.5 rebounds per game while earning recognition as one of the top 3-point shooters in the state. Wroblewski was selected to participate in the Chicago Classic All-Star Game and the 3-point shootout after earning all-conference and all-county honors. A two-star prospect according to scouting service Scout.com, he graduated as the school’s No. 2 career scorer (1,363 points) and the top 3-point shooter (211 3-point field goals). The four-year starter averaged 16.5 points per game as a junior, capturing all-conference and all-county honors while being tabbed as an honorable mention all-state selection by the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association in Class AA. Wroblewski earned MVP honors at the second annual Academic All-American Showcase. In a camp featuring more than one hundred Ivy League, Patriot League and Division III academic-minded college basketball prospects, he averaged 24 points per game in the five-game showcase while leading his team to the title.
Personal
Christopher William Wroblewski is the son of Peter and Valerie Wroblewski and has an older brother. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
