2010-11
Bernstein earned his first-ever conference accolade following his senior season when he was named first-team All-Ivy along with his doubles partner Jonathan Jaklitsch. The tandem went a perfect 7-0 against Ivy opponents at No. 1 doubles. The pair posted a 16-7 mark overall during the spring regular season playing at both the No. 1 and No. 2 spots. Against Louisville in the NCAA tournament, the pair was trailing 7-6 when the Cardinals clinched the doubles point.
2009-10
As a junior, Bernstein played predominantly at the No. 5 and No. 6 spots in singles and posted a 12-8 record overall, and an impressive 6-1 mark in conference play. He was also a solid doubles player, seeing time mostly at the No. 3 position. In doubles, Bernstein went 15-6 on the season and 5-1 against Ancient Eight opponents.
2008-09
Bernstein saw some action in doubles, and he even started as high as the No. 2 doubles position in a match against Point Loma. During the fall season, Bernstein posted an impressive 7-2 singles record, which included winning the B flight singles title at the Cornell Indoor Invitational.
At West Boca Raton
A four-time district champion and a two-time state runner-up, Bernstein is a graduate of West Boca Raton HS. In high school, Bernstein reached the round of 16 at the National Clay Courts.
Personal
Evan R. Bernstein is the son of Richard Bernstein and Karen Provence and has one older brother. He is enrolled in Cornell’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
