Deveney Pula Career Statistics
At Cornell
Freshman (2009): Pula made significant contributions to the team as a freshman, seeing action in all 25 matches and playing in 80-of-88 sets. She led the team in kills (2.95 per set) and ranked among the best on the team with a .149 kill percentage. Both of those numbers jumped against Ivy League opponents, as she registered 3.23 kills per set and a .154 kill percentage. Pula also ranked second on the team in both digs (200) and service aces (14). Of the 25 matches played, she led the Big Red in kills on 15 occasions, with career highs of 19 at Dartmouth (Oct. 30) and vs. Penn (Nov. 17). She also led the team in digs in two matches and posted a career-best 18 vs. Fairleigh Dickinson on Sept. 11.
Before Cornell
Pula helped lead her team to three straight league championships and earned league scholar-athlete honors all four years of her high school career. She was named the league's best offensive player and first-team all-league as a senior. She earned second-team all-league honors as a junior. Pula helped her squad to a CIF semifinals appearance as a senior after berths in the quarterfinals as a sophomore and junior. Pula played club volleyball for Mizuno, leading that team to top-five finishes in Southern California twice and a top-15 finish once.
Personal
Deveney Kelly Pula is the daughter of Keli and Tali Pula and has a younger brother. She is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
