Senior Season — 2013
Mullan made eight appearances in the field and two on the mound. He had a pair of hits as a left-handed option at the plate, knocking in a run with a single April 20 vs. Penn. He also surrendered no runs in his only two collegiate relief pitching appearances against Canisius and Columbia. He finished his career batting .152 with four runs and seven RBIs.

Junior Season — 2012
Mullan was the Big Red’s primary left-handed bat off the bench, driving in two runs in just six at-bats. His first RBI came on a single up the middle in the ninth inning of a March 18 win at Delaware State, and the second came another single in the final inning of an April 27 game against Princeton.

Sophomore Season — 2011
As a sophomore, Mullan batted .103 while seeing action in 17 contests with 10 starts, primarily in rightfield. He drove in four runs and scored twice while drawing seven walks. Mullan earned his first career start at Virginia and was 2-for-4 at James Madison for his first multi-hit contest.

Freshman Season — 2010
Mullan appeared in five games for the Big Red as a freshman, going 1-for-3 on the season. He singled in his first career plate appearance on March 23 at Florida Atlantic and drew a walk on April 28 at Binghamton.

Prior to Cornell
Mullan was named the 2009 CIF Southern Section male student-athlete of the year and received the section's Champion for Character Award. An all-league player as a senior, he also earned team most valuable player honors and served as captain during both his junior and senior years.

Personal
Phillip Codey Mullan is the son of William and Tracey Mullan and has a younger sister. His mother played softball at Loyola Marymount. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
