Biography

Sophomore Season — 2011-12
Brisson saw part-time duty, but still managed to notch his first two collegiate goals while improving on his point total from his freshman campaign. His first tally came when he alertly jumped into a line rush on a delayed penalty Jan. 14 at Princeton, wristing a shot past the Tigers' Mike Condon late in the second period. Brisson's second career two-point game came less than a month later in a Feb. 3 game at first-place Union. He had the primary assist on Greg Miller's goal in the middle frame, then scored on a shot from the point 1:40 later to give the Big Red a two-goal lead. Brisson finished the season with a plus-1 rating, ensuring that all eight blueliners on the roster finished better than even in plus/minus.

Freshman Season — 2010-11
Brisson appeared in 27 games on the year for the Big Red, collecting four points on four assists. He picked up his first career point on Dec. 29 in the overtime loss to St. Cloud State, then added a pair of assists in Cornell's 2-1 win at Princeton on Jan. 7 for his first career multi-point game. Brisson then capped his scoring for the season with an assist in the clinching game three victory against Quinnipiac in the ECAC Hockey quarterfinal round on March 13. Brisson missed a month of action in the beginning of the season after suffering an injury on Nov. 6 at Clarkson, returning to action to face Alabama-Huntsville on Dec. 3 and 4 at Lynah Rink.

For the year, Brisson appeared in 55 of Omaha’s 60 games, scoring 22 points on five goals and 17 assists with a +13 rating and accumulating 55 minutes in penalties.
