Senior Season — 2013
Burke started a career-high eight games, coming on particularly strong toward the end of the season. He recording three hits and two RBIs in a series victory against Penn. He finished his collegiate career with a .216 batting average, 11 hits and eight RBIs over 34 games.

Junior Season — 2012
Burke emerged as the Big Red’s primary backup catcher. He had a pair of two-hit games among his seven starts this season, including an April 17 contest against Siena in which his two-run single in the second inning gave Cornell a 2-0 lead.

Sophomore Season — 2011
Burke saw action in four contests in 2011 and earned one start. He was a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate, including a double. He saw time off the bench at Virginia and Radford, then earned his only start of the season in a home game against LeMoyne. His two-run double in that game gave the Big Red an early 2-0 lead.

Freshman Season — 2010
Burke made five appearances as a freshman, earning one start behind the plate. He made his collegiate debut against Florida Atlantic on March 23. Burke made his first career start on April 20 against Siena, going 0-for-2. On the year, Burke went hitless in four official at-bats.

Prior to Cornell
Burke was a four-year letterwinner and two-year captain at Redondo Union HS. He was named an
Underarmor All-American as a junior and was tabbed for the All-Bay League Second Team as a senior.

Personal
Christopher Daniel Burke is the son of Teri Burke, and he has an older brother and older sister. He is
enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
