Sahota played in 14 contests, including one start, and posted nine points, 11 rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots and two steals in 54 total minutes of game action. He played four minutes against Seton Hall, collecting a rebound, a block and a steal. Sahota blocked a shot and grabbed a rebound off the bench at Syracuse. He earned his first career start in the team’s win over Wofford. He scored his first career points at Yale and hit a 3-pointer in a win over Brown. Sahota also hit a bucket on his only shot in a two-point loss to Ivy champion Princeton. He played a career-high 10 minutes in the win over Dartmouth, scoring two points, grabbing two rebounds and collecting two steals. Grabbed three rebounds in the season finale against Yale.

At St. Marguerite d'Youville HS
Sahota was invited to compete in the 2010 All-Canadian National High School All-Star game as a senior at St. Marguerite d’Youville HS. He averaged 20 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three blocks per game in his final season. A first-team All-Ontario and Academic All-Ontario pick, Sahota was named the top forward in the province and the No. 4 forward in the country by hoopstarscanada.com. A member of the Toronto Star area all-star team, he was named High School Athlete of the Year in 2009. Sahota won the 2009 New York Nationals Dunk-off. He served as team captain of both the basketball and volleyball teams as a senior.

Personal
Manvinder S. Sahota is the son of Gurpal and Kuldip Sahota and has an older brother. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
