The blast also gave Cruz his program-record 12th home run of the season and vaulted him into the top 10 on the program’s all-time list for that category. ... Cruz was an All-Ivy League Second Team selection in 2012, ranking second on the team with eight stolen bases. ... He was just a single shy of hitting for the cycle on March 17 at Delaware State. Cruz was 3-for-5 with five RBI on the day. ... Cruz started every game in right field, where he had four assists. He was the only underclassman on the team to start all 49 games.
