Biography

Freshman Season — 2011-12
Sullivan was a fixture in the Big Red lineup, posting a 3-4 record in Ivy League competition and 10-8 mark in dual-match singles play. Those 10 victories ranked second on the team, with seven coming at the No. 4 spot in the order. Sullivan was 11-8 in tournament singles play, defeating NJIT's Monica Graff for the A Bracket consolation title at the Cornell Fall Invitational in her collegiate debut. She ended the tournament season with a stretch of four victories over five matches, including a pair of straight-set wins in a qualifier for the Women's Northeast Regional Championship. Sullivan was 11-5 in doubles play outside of dual matches, including a 6-1 record when teaming with Christine Ordway. Together, the team of Sullivan and Ordway won the A Bracket of the Cornell Fall Invitational.

Prior to Cornell
Sullivan lettered four times at Poly Prep Country Day School, playing at No. 1 and No. 2 singles and co-captained the team in 2010. In both 2007 and 2008, she was the Ivy League Prep champion. Sullivan also played for the Westside Tennis Club, where she placed first at the JTT National Championships in 2010.

Personal
Gabrielle Margaret Sullivan is the daughter of Kingsley Sullivan and Susan Vaughan and has one younger sister and one older sister. Sullivan is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
