As a Freshman (2012)
Fidel saw action in five contests for the Big Red, scoring her first career goal on her only shot of the year in a 21-7 win against Canisius on March 13. She also picked up three ground balls throughout the season, playing mostly in the defensive end.

At Pikesville
Fidel was a two-time all-county selection at Pikesville HS. The 2011 U.S. Lacrosse Scholastic All-American earned all-division accolades as a junior and senior while playing both defense and midfield. She was elected team captain as a senior. Fidel was a four-year letter winner in soccer and also competed in track and field. She won the county title in the 800 meter dash and was named the soccer team's most improved player as a freshman.

Personal
Skylar Hope Fidel is the daughter of Adam and Ilene Fidel and has an older and younger brother. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
