Smith on Meriggioli: Molly has a scorer’s mentality and a very good basketball IQ. She is solid off of screens with the ball in her hands which will be effective in the half court, but she is also smart in transition and capable of knocking down the three.

At Madison Edgewood HS
Meriggioli lettered four times in basketball at Madison Edgewood high school, serving as team captain during her final two seasons.  She was a two-time Southern Badger Conference first team selection and an all-area second-team honoree. As a senior, she was named to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All-Star team. Meriggioli also helped her team to a Badger South Conference crown as a freshman. She also lettered four times in soccer and was a two-time first-team Southern Badger Conference selection and a second-team all-state honoree as a goalkeeper.  Meriggioli helped Madison Edgewood to three conference titles and two state titles on the pitch.

Personal
Molly Meriggioli is the daughter of Nick and Barb Meriggioli and she has one younger brother and three younger sisters. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
