As a Senior (2014-15)Fulton concluded her excellent career with another highly successful season in 2014-15. She posted a new career high of 48 points, finishing as the team’s second leading scorer. Appearing in 32 games, she equaled a career high with 21 goals, while she set a new career high with 27 assists. She finished the regular season tied for the conference lead in goals, while she ranked second only teammate Brianne Jenner in points. She was twice named ECAC Hockey Player of the Week, while she was a First Team All-Ivy and Second Team All-ECAC Hockey selection. She was a nominee for the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award. She netted her first career hat trick in a 3-2 overtime victory over Colgate on Feb. 3. Fulton finishes her career tied for fourth all-time in power play goals with 19 for her career.
As a Junior (2013-14)Fulton played a key offensive role this season, sharing time between the Big Red’s first line and second line. As one of just seven players to appear in all 34 games, she was Cornell’s second-leading scorer with 21 goals and 22 assists for 43 points. She had a season-high five assists in the Big Red’s 6-3 victory over Clarkson Oct. 25. She also recorded four points against St. Lawrence the following day (1 goal, 3 assists) and against Union Nov. 9 (2 goals, 2 assists). ECAC Hockey’s Player of the Month of October, she is tied for fifth all-time in the Cornell single-season record books with seven power-play goals this season. She was also ECAC Hockey Player of the Week for Oct. 29. Fulton earned 1st Team All-Ivy and 2nd Team All-ECAC Hockey honors and is currently No. 9 all-time in the Cornell record books with 13 short-handed goals.
As a Sophomore (2012-13)Fulton continued to improve in her second year with the Big Red, scoring two more goals in her sophomore season than she did as a freshman. Though she missed some time with injury, Fulton averaged more points per game this year than she did in 2011-12. She scored three points against St. Lawrence on Oct. 23 and scored the game-winner in the team's first contest this year at Boston University on Oct. 20.
As a Freshman (2011-12)Fulton won ECAC Hockey’s Rookie of the Week Award once during the her freshman year. She scored her first career goal against Brown on Oct. 29 and, through Dec. 1, has added four more, including three on the power play. She scored her 10th career point against Boston University on Nov. 25. Her career-high two-point games came against Quinnipiac on Nov. 19 and against Harvard on Nov. 12. Consistently finding playing time on the Big Red’s third line, Fulton had five points in the second half of the year coming on two goals (at Union, vs. Union) and three assists (2 vs. Quinnipiac, 1 vs. Brown).
Before CornellFulton is a forward who spent the 2010-2011 season as team captain of the Bluewater Hawks of the PWHL. Additionally, she represented Canada at the 2010 and 2011 U18 Women's World Championships, winning a gold and silver medal at the respective competitions in Chicago, Ill. and Sweden. She is a tough and passionate competitor who has the ability to break down opposing defenses with her power, hockey sense and stick skills.
PersonalEmily Anne Fulton is the daughter of Steve and Anne-MarieFulton and has an older brother. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences where she will study Nutrition Science.
