Senior Season — 2013-14
Gotovets had a solid final collegiate season, appearing in all 32 games as one of the Big Red's top four defensemen. He consistently played at even strength and on the penalty kill, ranking third on the team with 56 blocked shots. His lone goal kicked off the scoring in the Big Red's 2-1 victory over Clarkson on March 14 in Game 1 of the ECAC Hockey Championship quarterfinal series at Lynah Rink. He also added three assists and finished with a plus rating for a fourth consecutive season. Gotovets signed a contract with the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals after the Big Red's season concluded.

Junior Season — 2012-13
Gotovets appeared in all 22 games in which he was healthy enough to play. His absence was felt down the stretch, as he missed seven of the final eight games due to injury. He finished with a plus rating for the third consecutive season and continued to be one of the team's best puck-moving defensemen.

Sophomore Season — 2011-12
Gotovets showed his versatility, filling in at forward in addition to his regular appearances on the blue line. He scored his first career power-play goal on Nov. 4 at Yale. He added an assist the following night at Brown, his first of seven helpers on the season. He assisted on the final two goals of the Big Red's double overtime victory over Dartmouth in Game 1 of the ECAC Hockey Championship quarterfinals, giving him his second career multi-point game. He amassed a plus-13 rating, which ranked second among the team's defensemen.

Freshman Season — 2010-11
Gotovets made a seemless transition to college hockey, appearing in all 34 of the Big Red's games in his first season and picking up seven points on a goal and six assists. He broke into the scoring column with a goal and an assist in the team's first victory of the season on Nov. 6 at Clarkson, then picked up four assists in four straight games from Nov. 20 through Dec. 4. Gotovets also picked up an assist in the decisive game three of the ECAC Hockey quarterfinal round against Quinnipiac.
