Senior Season — 2014-15
Lowry’s final season was cut short due to an injury, which kept him out for all of the team's games following the semester break in December. He still made an impact in the offensive end in limited time, leading the team in scoring when his season ended. Lowry played a huge role in the Big Red’s first victory, as he scored in regulation against Clarkson on Nov. 14, then made a deft pass to Eric Freschi on a shorthanded two-on-one in overtime to seal the victory. He also tallied the winning goal in a 4-0 whitewash of Brown on Nov. 22, then scored the winner yet again during the next game in the annual Madison Square Garden game; a 3-1 triumph over Penn State on Nov. 29. Lowry would find the twine one final time against Denver on Dec. 6.

Junior Season — 2013-14
Lowry was tied for second on the team with 24 points, including seven goals to go with a career-high 17 assists — which was also tied for the team lead. He started the season on fire, with a goal and an assist in each of the first three games. Lowry then had his third career two-goal game Nov. 16 at St. Lawrence, spurring the Big Red to a critical 5-2 victory. He also had an assist in the game, which was part of a stretch consisting of 11 points of eight games. Just as importantly, Lowry was the team's nominee for the ECAC Hockey Best Defensive Forward Award. He finished with a plus rating for a third straight season, won a respectable 50 percent of his draws (most often after the center was kicked out of the circle) and had 34 blocked shots, which was tops among the squad's forwards. At the team's postseason banquet, Lowry was presented with two awards. He won the Iron Man Award for the first time in his career, having already played 100 games for Cornell and never missing a contest due to injury. He also claimed the Crimson Cup, given to the player who was the standout performer in the season series against Harvard. Lowry's memorable goal against the Crimson led the Big Red to a 3-2 victory with 36 seconds remaining in overtime on Senior Night. He also had an assist earlier in the game.

Sophomore Season — 2012-13
Already one of the Big Red's top offensive threats, Lowry doubled his goal total from his freshman season and scored his first four collegiate power-play goals. He ranked second on the team with 12 goals, and his 19 blocked shots was second among forwards. Lowry started the season with his second career two-goal game, with both tallies coming on the power play in a 3-2 win against Colorado College on Oct. 27. He followed that up with another two-point effort in the next game, scoring a goal and adding an assist in the Big Red's 3-1 win at Colgate on Nov. 2. Not surprisingly, he had a productive streak down the stretch that coincided with the Big Red's surge into the playoffs. Lowry had nine points in the nine games from Feb. 15 to March 15, with Cornell posting a 7-1-1 record over that span.

Freshman Season — 2011-12
Lowry appeared in all of the Big Red’s games on the same line with senior Sean Collins at center and freshman John McCarron on the opposite wing. He scored his first two career goals Nov. 4 at Yale, then added the game-winning shorthanded goal Jan. 13 at Quinnipiac. His 17 points in league play was tied for the team lead, and was also tied for second among all rookies in ECAC Hockey. Lowry was particularly consistent down the stretch, posting nine points in the nine games leading up to the NCAA Midwest Regional, including his first career three-point game in the Big Red's Ivy League title-clinching victory over Yale on Feb. 11. Lowry assisted on three of Cornell's four goals.

Before Cornell

Lowry played in 54 games on the season for Victoria of the BCHL, finishing the season with 84 points to rank second on the team in scoring. He had 29 goals and 55 assists on the year despite missing nearly two full months due to injury and ranked first in scoring per game among all players who appeared in a minimum of 40 contests. Lowry spent two seasons with Victoria, appearing in 117 games, and scored 133 points on 45 goals and 88 assists. He was ranked 95th among domestic skaters on the final Central Scouting List for the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
