Biography
As a Freshman (2012-13)
Murray was a key contributor for the Big Red as a point-scoring defenseman early in her first year. Through 13 games, all before Winter Break, she had seven assists including a career-best three at Colgate on Nov. 17. After missing much of the second half of the year with an injury, she returned to the lineup late for a playoff run.
Before Cornell
A graduate of The Edge School in Calgary, Murray is an aggressive player and strong skater with a powerful shot. She was the assistant captain of her high school team as a senior. As the captain of Team Alberta, her squad claimed the 2011 Canada Games championship.
Personal
Kelly Mabel Murray is the daughter of Paul and Kimberly Murray. She has two older sisters, Logan and Madison, and a younger sister, Eden.
