As a junior (2015)
• Served as kicker in five contests in 2015, scoring 12 points.
• Connected on 6-of-7 PAT attempts and on 2-of-6 field goals.
• Made a 27-yard field goal and booted three PAT kicks against Brown.
• Kicked a 33-yard field goal to give the Big Red an early first quarter lead against Harvard.
• Was perfect on all three PAT attempts against Colgate.

As a sophomore (2014)
• Kicked in four contests during his sophomore season, making 6-of-7 PAT kicks and missing his only field goal attempt.
• Earned his first playing time of the 2014 campaign by drilling a PAT in the second half at Princeton.
• Also made his only PAT attempt vs. Dartmouth.
• Made all four extra-point kicks at Columbia.

As a freshman (2013)
• Pierik took over the starting place-kicking duties late in his freshman season and was the primary PAT and field goal kicker over the final three contests.
• He made the most of the opportunity, connecting on 3-of-4 field goals, including a 40-yarder in the win over Columbia.
• Pierik was 9-of-9 on extra-point kicks during the season.
• He nailed a pair of field goals at Princeton and was a perfect 3-of-3 on PAT kicks against Columbia and was 6-of-6 in the season-ending win over Penn.

At Notre Dame HS
• Pierik was league Special Teams MVP as a senior at Notre Dame HS.
• For his career, Pierik made 12-of-18 field goals (long of 45) and 73-of-85 extra-point kicks.
• He also served as the team's punter for three years.
• The starting kicker at the 2012 Inland Empire All-Star Football Classic, he was the field goal champion at the Chris Sailer Annual National Spring Event and the kickoff-champion at both the Kohl's Western Showcase and the Snap, Hold, Kick Los Angeles chapter competition.
• Kohl's ranked him as the No. 52 high school kicker nationally as a senior.
• Pierik also lettered in tennis, where he was a two-time league doubles champion, and in soccer.

Personal
• Joseph Thomas Pierik is the son of Thomas and Tracy Pierik and has an older brother and younger sister.
• His grandfather, John Pierik, is in the Cornell Athletics Hall of Fame after helping the 1948-50 teams to a 23-4 overall record.
• John Pierik was co-captain of the team as a senior and earned Associated Press second-team All-East honors.
• Joe Pierik is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
