Freshman (2014): Ennis saw action in 12 matches, making eight starts, before having her rookie season derailed by injury.  She played in 33 sets and finished the year with 25 kills, 19 total blocks and five digs

At Mother McAuley High School
Ennis lettered three times at Mother McAuley high school, helping her team to finish the 2013 season ranked No. 8 in the PrepVolleyball.com national rankings. Her team won the 2013 Illinois Class 4A championship after taking third place in 2012. She was a four-time Girls Catholic Athletic Conference all-academic team selection and was named the GCAC all-star team as a junior and senior. Ennis also played for Michio Chicago Volleyball Academy, where she took sixth place in the 2013 USAV American Division, and first place in the Mid-East qualifier.

Personal
Gabrielle Elizabeth Ennis is the daughter of Mary and William Ennis and she has one younger brother. She is enrolled in the School of Hotel Administration.
