Career
Knight saved his best campaign for his last, earning second-team All-American honors after posting the highest save percentage (.558) and lowest goals-against average (9.75) of his career as a senior. His save percentage was the highest by any Cornell goalie in more than a decade (Matt McMonagle – .616 in 2017), and despite seeing a large chunk of his senior season wiped out due to injury, he was named honorable mention All-Ivy for the fourth time in his career. Knight is one of just four goalies in Cornell history to amass 600 saves and he averaged 10.71 saves per game for his career, a mark good for ninth overall in program history. An Inside Lacrosse Media second-team All-American, Knight posted double-digits saves in 8-of-13 games during the 2018 season, registering a career-high 19 saves on three occasions. He racked up an Ivy League tournament record 35 saves over two games to lead the Big Red to the Ivy League Men's Lacrosse Tournament title, earning tournament MVP honors as a result. He finished the season ranked ninth in the nation in save percentage and 14th overall in saves per game (11.36). Knight was the Ivy League Rookie of the Year in 2014. .
2017 season
• Named honorable mention All-Ivy.
• Finished the 2017 season with 155 saves, good for 20th in Cornell history for saves in a single-season.
• Averaged 11.92 saves per game, good for fourth in the Ivy League and 12th in the nation.
• Posted at least 10 saves in each of the final four games of the season, and 10 times on the year, setting a career high for double-digit saves in a campaign.
• Opened the 2017 season by registering at least 10 saves in six games, and in seven consecutive games dating back to the 2015 season finale. That was the longest double-digit save by any Big Red goalie since Justin Cynar stopped 10+ shots in eight consecutive games during the 2000 season.
• Assisted on Jeff Teat's goal with one second to play in the third quarter vs. Hobart on Feb. 24, the Big Red's first point by a goalie since Ted Lynch registered an assist vs. Colgate on April 13, 1993.
2016 season
• Knight did not compete due to injury during his junior season.
2015 season
• Earned his second consecutive honorable mention All-Ivy selection as the only Big Red underclassman to be named to the conference teams following his sophomore season.
• Started all 16 games and logged 933:41 of playing time.
• Finished the year with a 9.96 goals-against average and a .480 save percentage.
• In Ivy League play, he ranked first among all goalies with an 8.64 goals-against average while saving .514 percent of the shots he faced.
• Posted double-digit saves seven times on the season, including a career-high 18 saves vs. Albany in the NCAA Tournament.
2014 season
• Had a standout freshman campaign, earning Ivy League Rookie of the Year honors and was an honorable mention All-Ivy selection.
• Took over the starting role prior to the Big Red's victory vs. No. 2 Virginia on March 8
• Became just the second player in the history of the conference to earn five men's lacrosse Rookie of the Week honors.
• Made 15 saves in his first game against the Cavaliers and never looked back, going 7-5 on the year.
• His 11.00 saves per game ranked second in the Ivy League and 13th in the nation, and were the most saves by a Big Red goalie since Matt McMonagle averaged 11.25 saves per game during the 2007 season.
• His .542 save percentage was good for third in the Ivy League and 20th in the nation, while he ranked fourth in the league and 29th in the country in goals against average (9.98).
• Knight was even better in conference play, averaging 11.7 saves per contest en route to a 5-1 record against Ivy foes with a .560 save percentage and a 9.64 GAA.
• Posted double-digits saves in 9-of-13 games, including a season-high 16 vs. Princeton.
• Registered 23 ground balls and caused four turnovers on the season.
At Boys' Latin
• A three-year letter winner at Boys' Latin School of Maryland.
• Served as team captain and earned team MVP honors during his senior season.
• Following the 2013 season, he was named first-team All-Metropolitan Baltimore, first-team All-MIAA and Varsity Sports Network Defensive Player of the Year.
• Also lettered three times in football and once in basketball, earning MIAA all-conference honors on the gridiron.

• Christian Alexander Knight is the son of William Knight and Kelly Johnston and he has two older sisters.
• Enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
