At Cornell
Career: After seeing minimal action during his first two seasons with the Big Red, Dan Lintner finished his career ranked 20th in Big Red history for career goals (88) and is seventh overall for career man-up goals (17). One of the best finishers in the country, Lintner burst onto the scene during the 2014 season, and finished the year ranked seventh in the nation and first in the Ivy League in goals per game (2.94 gpg.). He was an honorable mention All-American and a second-team All-Ivy selection after registering 10 hat tricks to finish the year with 47 goals, good for 10th all-time in Cornell's single-season goals list. He also ranked second on the team in points (47) and sixth in the Ivy League in points per game (3.25). Lintner led the team and the conference in man-up goals (9) and also registered one man-down goal on the season. Following his senior year in 2015, Lintner earned the second Ivy accolade of his career with an honorable mention selection. After a slow start, he posted seven hat tricks on the season and finished the year ranked third on the team with 30 goals.


2014: Lintner emerged during the 2014 season as one of the best finishers in the country, ranking seventh in the nation and first in the Ivy League in goals per game (2.94 gpg.). He was an honorable mention All-American and a second-team All-Ivy selection after registering 10 hat tricks to finish the year with 47 goals, good for 10th all-time in Cornell's single-season goals list. He also ranked second on the team in points (47) and sixth in the Ivy League in points per game (3.25). Lintner led the team and the conference in man-up goals (9) and also registered one man-down goal on the season. He registered a career-high six points twice on the year, hitting the mark vs. Binghamton (6-0) and vs. Colgate (5-1).  


2013: Lintner established himself as the team’s fourth attackman, seeing action in 17 games and making his only collegiate start against Bucknell. He finished the year with 10 goals, including a career-high three against Dartmouth, and handed out one assist on the season, coming against Colgate. He was also instrumental to the man-up unit, registering extra-man tallies against the Raiders, the Big Green and Maryland in the NCAA tournament. Lintner also picked up nine ground balls and caused two turnovers. Following the season, he won the Minto Cup with the Whitby Warriors and was named the tournament MVP after leading the way in both goals (16) and points (31) in seven games.

2012: Lintner did not play due to injury during the 2012 season. 

2011: Lintner played in two games during his rookie campaign, seeing action against Binghamton and Dartmouth. He registered a goal on his only shot of the season against the Bearcats. Lintner also picked up two ground balls and caused one turnover at Binghamton.

At The Hill Academy 
Lintner earned three letters in lacrosse and two letters in ice hockey at The Hill Academy. He also played two seasons for the Whitby Warriors of the Ontario Junior A Lacrosse League, leading the team in scoring during the 2010-11 season and helping the Warriors to the playoffs. He was a three-time selection to the Ontario Box all-star team, while winning four Ontario Box championships and three Team Ontario Lacrosse Box Gold championships. He also won two Team Ontario Lacrosse Field Gold championships. Lintner was his class valedictorian.

Personal 
Daniel Donald Reed Lintner is the son of Kevin and Terri Lintner and he has one older sister. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
