ECAC Hockey Tournament All-Tournament Team (2012, 2013)As a Senior (2014-15)Jenner capped her fantastic Cornell career with another excellent season. She led the conference in points, tallying 15 goals and a league-high 36 assists. She was twice named ECAC Hockey Player of the Month, winning the award for December and January. She was named ECAC Forward of the Year and ECAC Hockey Player of the Year at the conclusion of the regular season, while she also was a Patty Kazmaier Top-10 Finalist. She was also named Ivy League Player of the Year, while she was a First Team selection in both leagues. Her season high came against then-sixth ranked Boston University, where she collected five points (1g-4a) in a 6-2 victory, in the process becoming just the fourth Cornell player to amass 200 career points. Jenner concludes her career as Cornell’s all-time assist leader with 135, while she ranks fifth all-time in goals (93) and second all-time in points (228).
Junior Season - 2012-13Jenner took over the Big Red offense in a commanding way, leading the team with 35 goals and 35 assists for 70 points, the fifth-best scoring season in Cornell women's hockey history. She had the most game-winning goals in program history for a single season (seven), the fifth-most goals (35) and the seventh-most assists (35). She was named to the All-Ivy and ECAC Hockey first teams and won the ECAC Hockey and Ivy League Player of the Year Award. Jenner also won the ECAC Hockey Player of the Month for January and February and had the second-most points per game and goals per game in the nation. In the playoff-opening series against Colgate, she scored or assisted on all eight Cornell goals including both game-winners in overtime and with one second left in the third period. She was also named to the ECAC Hockey All-Tournament Team, had seven power play goals and twice scored six points in agame. She also had four hat tricks on the season, three more than anyone else on the roster. Jenner was named to the roster of Hockey Canada's National Women's Team for the 4 Nations Cup and the 2013 IIHF Women's World Championship. Jenner moved up to fifth all-time at Cornell for career assists, sixth for career points and seventh for career goals.
Sophomore Season - 2011-12Jenner continued to improve on her impressive freshman campaign during her sophomore year, being named to ECAC Hockey’s First Team and the Ivy League’s First Team. She also earned a nomination for the Patty Kazmaier Award for the second consecutive year. Jenner has scored at least three points in a game six times this season, including a year-high four points against Yale on Oct. 28, at Yale on Feb. 11. and again in the NCAA Quarterfinals against Boston University on March 10. She scored two goals in that first Yale game, and she earned three assists versus Brown on Oct. 29. Jenner was named ECAC Hockey’s Player of the Week for her performance in those two games, and she earned a game-winning goal in the season opener at Colgate. She also earned ECAC Hockey Player of the Week honors on Feb. 14 for an eight-point week. She has racked up five power play goals and four game-winning goals while staying in the top 15 nationally for points per game all year.
Freshman Season - 2010-11Jenner finished the season tied for the team lead in scoring, finishing with 50 points in her debut campaign. The Ivy League Rookie of the Year, Jenner was also named a nominee for the Patty Kazmaier Award and earned a spot on the ECAC Hockey first team and all-rookie team, in addition to the Ivy League’s first team. Jenner picked up a whopping 11 points in her first five games, easily making the transition to college hockey, before missing a pair of games to compete with Canada at the Four Nations Cup, winning a gold medal. She had a pair of four-point games and one five-point outing this season, and was strong throughout the playoffs, picking up eight points in the Big Red’s six post-season contests this year. She finished the season with 23 goals and 27 assists in 33 games while also picking up a +42 rating. Jenner scored a pair of short-handed goals, including one in the NCAA quarterfinal victory against Dartmouth on March 12. Following the season, she was invited to the selection camp for Team Canada for the IIHF World Championships.
Before CornellJenner was centralized with the Canadian National Team in the buildup to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, being one of the final players released from the team. She also played with the Canadian U22 National Team, helping that squad to a gold medal at the 2010 MLP Cup in Ravensburg, Germany. A four-time member of the Ontario U18 team, she claimed three national championships. Jenner also played basketball and soccer in school before focusing her efforts on hockey.
PersonalBrianne Alexandra Jenner is the daughter of Dave and Brenda Jenner and has an older brother. Her father was a goaltender for the University of Toronto in the late 1970s. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
