Biography

Senior Season — 2016
Padulo earned All-Ivy League honorable mention after shifting over to become the team's everyday second baseman. He was one of just three players to start all 38 games for the Big Red, where he batted .293 with six doubles, two triples, two home runs, 21 RBI and four stolen bases. He was even better in Ivy League play, batting .322 and ending his collegiate career with a 4-for-4 performance against Princeton on April 30. He also had the unique distinction of driving in four runs in a game against Bucknell on March 25 in which he did not record a hit.

Junior Season — 2016
In his second season as the starting shortstop, Padulo was the team's primary leadoff hitter and as tied for third on the team with 14 walks. He hit his first collegiate home run to drive in three runs against Columbia on April 17. Padulo also had a five-game hitting streak during non-league play in March, and he had six games in which he had at least two hits and three games with multiple RBIs.

Sophomore Season — 2015
Padulo became the everyday shortstop for the Big Red in his second season, making 32 starts at the position to go with another start at second base and three other appearances. He made most of his starts batting ninth in the order and was a great option to turn the lineup over with his .284 batting average. He had seven multi-hit games on the year and went a perfect 4-for-4 at Princeton on April 24 with a pair of doubles and three RBI. He was a perfect 2-for-2 on stolen base attempts and led the team with three sacrifice bunts. He also had great value in the field by making just seven errors in the 36 games that he appeared in the middle of the infield.

Freshman Season — 2014
Padulo made three starts in 11 appearances, batting .111 with a pair of RBIs. He drove in both runs March 16 at James Madison, pulling a 10th-inning single through the left side of the infield with the bases loaded to help spur the Big Red to a 14-8 victory. He also delivered a pinch-hit double in the ninth inning of an April 13 game against Penn, eventually coming around to score after a passed ball and a hit-by-pitch with the bases loaded.

Prior to Cornell
Padulo holds career records for hits (105) and walks (56) at Los Alamitos High School, earning an array of awards. After his junior season, he was named to both the OC Register Dream Team and Press Telegram Dream Team while earning his first of two All-Sunset League First Team selections. Padulo was then an All-CIF Southern Section Division 1 selection, a member of the Sunset League Senior All-Star Team, Long Beach All-Area Team, Army National Reserve Scholar Athlete of the Year and Los Alamitos team MVP after his senior season.
