Senior Season — 2017
Soltis posted a 3-1 record and 4.88 ERA across 10 appearances. He was most effective in his four non-league starts, where he was 1-0 with a 3.38 ERA in two games against Binghamton and one each against Bucknell and Georgetown. Soltis earned a victory in his last collegiate outing, working two scoreless frames against Princeton on April 30.

Junior Season — 2016
Soltis made 13 appearances for the Big Red and while he was primarily a reliever, he also tossed a complete game among his two starts. That effort came on April 26 against Canisius, when Soltis surrendered just one run while striking out four in six innings against the Golden Griffins in a hard-luck 1-0 loss. His strikeout-to-walk ratio of 7:2 led the team.

Sophomore Season — 2015
Soltis made just one appearance on the mound for the Big Red during his second year on April 1 at Towson.

Freshman Season — 2014
Soltis surrendered just two unearned runs across 8.2 innings over five relief appearances to become the Big Red's lone pitcher with an appearance to sport a 0.00 earned-run average. With the Big Red enduring a schedule crunch of eight games in six days, Soltis worked both games of an April 2 doubleheader at George Mason in his collegiate debut. He tossed a scoreless inning in both games. His longest outing of the season was April 17 against Binghamton, when he struck out three over three scoreless innings.

Prior to Cornell
Perfect Game USA ranked Soltis 14th among pitchers and 34th overall in Virginia after a four-year varsity career which included an All-District Second Team selection. He was a 2012 Perfect Game USA Underclass All-American Honorable Mention, 2012 Under Armour Preseason All-American Honorable Mention and 2013 Rawlings All-American Honorable Mention Atlantic Region selection.

Personal
Scott E. Soltis is the son of Mark and Tawnya Soltis. He has an older brother who played baseball at Randolph-Macon College. He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
