Senior Season — 2016
The side-winding Veenema made 10 relief appearances, which was tied for fourth-most on the team. In three of his outings, he struck out the only batter he faced.

Junior Season — 2015
Veenema made just three appearances during his second year on the East Hill, with his season's best coming on April 7 when he threw an inning and a third of no-hit ball against Binghamton.

Sophomore Season — 2014
Veenema did not appear in any game action.

Prior to Cornell
Veenema helped lead Fairport High School to a Section V title during his senior season before an injury kept him out of action last season for Monroe Community College. He was a USA Baseball Western New York Regional All-Star in 2012.

Personal
Ryne Jack Veenema is the son of Ken Veenema '77 and Tener Goodwin Veenema, and he has two olders brothers and an older sister. His father is a member of the Cornell Athletics Hall of Fame, having helped lead the Big Red to the Eastern Intercollegiate Baseball League title and an NCAA tournament berth in 1977. His older brother, Blair, also played collegiate baseball with the University of Rochester. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
