Biography
As a Sophomore (2015-16)
Saracco appeared in 15 games as a sophomore, missing a large chunk of games in the middle of the season due to injury. She made an impact when she was able to play, however, finishing the season with three assists, including the lone helper on the game-winning goal at Princeton with just 21 seconds remaining. She also closed the season with 13 blocked shots, with a season-high four in the home opener against national powerhouse Boston College.
As a Freshman (2014-15)
Saracco did not appear in any games in 2014-15.
Before Cornell
Saracco spent eight seasons competing with the Chicago Mission, winning an Illinois State championship and Central District championship in each of those seasons. She served as a team captain for seven of those seasons, helping lead the squad to four third-place finishes and three second-place finishes at the USA National Championships. Most recently, Saracco scored six goals to go with 16 assists for 22 points in 16 games with the Mission U19 team last season. She has also attended the USA Hockey National Development Camp from 2010-13.
Personal
Sydnee Lisa Saracco is the daughter of Anthony and Deborah Saracco, and she has a brother and a sister. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
