As a Senior (2016)
Moubayed had a breakout season as a senior, appearing in all 19 games and starting 16 on defense for the Big Red. She finished second on the team in caused turnovers with 15 while also picking up 21 ground balls and three draw controls. She also scored her first two career goals. She had a strong outing in the Ivy League Tournament Championship, causing two turnovers and picking up two ground balls against Penn to help Cornell to its first tournament championship in program history. She scored her first career goal in a 12-5 win over Dartmouth and added a second in the 15-11 victory over Canisius in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

As a Junior (2015)
Moubayed saw action in eight games during her third year. She registered one ground ball in a victory over Binghamton on 3/11.

As a Sophomore (2014)
Moubayed saw action in two games this season, against Binghamton and then-No. 13 Stanford. 

As a Freshman (2013)
Moubayed played in one game during her freshman season, coming off the bench against Colgate in March.

Before Cornell
Moubayed, given her school’s Fearing Prize as its top female athlete, starred in field hockey and ice hockey as well as lacrosse. On the lacrosse field, she was twice an All-League selection and three times a New England Prep School all-star. She also played for the U.S. Lacrosse Women’s Division National Tournament in 2010 and 2011 for a Lower New England team. She captained her field hockey team as a junior and senior – where she twice was named All-League – and she did the same with lacrosse. She has excellent positioning and quickness, and she is a feisty and aggressive defender who will challenge for a spot in the backfield.

Catherine Sarah Moubayed is the daughter of Shereen and Trish Moubayed. She has an older brother, Ian.
