Biography
As a Senior (2016)
Schwab was a key contributor off the bench for the Big Red as a senior. She scored her first career goal and recorded her first hat trick on the same day, scoring three goals and adding an assist in a 14-7 win over Columbia. She added another goal at Brown and at Binghamton to finish the season with six points, while also picking up two ground balls.
As a Junior (2015)
Schwab saw action in four games for the Big Red in her third season. She collected an assist in a victory over Binghamton on 3/11. She added another assist in the victory over California on 3/29. She finished the year with two points overall.
As a Sophomore (2014)
Schwab saw action in one game this season and helped the Big Red to a 15-4 victory over Binghamton.Â
As a Freshman (2013)
Schwab played in one game for Cornell during her freshman season, scoring a goal and adding an assist against Colgate on March 6.
Before Cornell
An Academic All-American as a senior, Schwab was a talented recruit coming out of Pennsylvania. She made the Central League Second Team her junior and senior years as an attacker and midfielder. Schwab also took part in the U.S. Lacrosse Women's Division National Tournament, playing for a Philly team in 2011. A skilled player with a terrific offensive game, Schwab’s dodging and finishing ability will allow her to compete for time early in her career. During a four-year high school career on the soccer pitch as a forward, Schwab also made honorable mention teams in 2008 and 2009.
Personal
Jessica Billie Schwab is the daughter of Richard and Edna Schwab. She has an older brother, Robert, an older sister, Amanda, and a younger sister, Allison.
