As a senior (2017)
• Led the team in receiving yards (363) and was second in receptions (31).
• Caught one touchdown and returned a pair of kickoffs for 36 yards (18.0 yards per return).
• Played in nine contests.
• Caught three passes for 58 yards, including an acrobatic 47-yarder, in the 2017 season opener at Delaware.
• Hauled in three passes for 82 yards and a touchdown, along with a two-point conversion catch, in the Ivy League opener at Yale.
• Caught three passes for 37 yards against Colgate.
• Made one reception for seven yards in the win over Harvard.
• Made a career-high eight catches for 53 yards and returned one kickoff 24 yards against Bucknell.

As a junior (2016)
• Posted a career-high 25 receptions for 328 yards and added a touchdown on the season, ranking fifth on the team in catches and yards.
• Also returned two kicks and a team-high seven punts during the year.
• Hauled in three passes for 33 yards in the 2016 opener at Bucknell.
• Caught a 38-yard pass in the win over Yale and a 40-yarder in the loss at No. 16 Harvard.
• Had five catches for a career-high 105 yards, including a 63-yard touchdown, in the Big Red’s 39-38 win at No. 25 Colgate.
• Had a team-high five receptions for 47 yards against Sacred Heart and also returned punts.
• Made five catches for 26 yards in the win at Columbia.

As a sophomore (2015)
• Had a breakout season, catching 18 passes for 254 yards and a team-best three touchdowns.
• Also returned some kicks, averaging 14.0 yards on seven chances as the secondary returner.
• Hauled in four passes for 62 yards and a touchdown against Colgate.
• Made four grabs for 74 yards and a score at Penn.
• Had a breakout game in the 2015 opener against Bucknell, hauling in three passes for 60 yards and a touchdown.
• The catches and touchdown were all his first in a varsity uniform.
• Hauled in a pass for 16 yards at Yale and caught three passes for 28 yards against Harvard.
• Had a pair of catches against Brown.

As a freshman (2014)
• Saw action in one contest on special teams, making his collegiate debut against Yale.

At Fullerton HS
• A first-team all-league and all-area pick and second-team all-county selection as a senior at Fullerton HS, Hubbard hauled in 62 passes for 1,092 yards and 14 touchdowns in his final season.
• He also ran for two scores.
• As a junior, Hubbard caught 28 passes for 441 yards and two touchdowns and ended his career with 97 catches for 1,563 yards and 16 touchdowns while scoring three more on the ground.
• He was named a National Football Foundation scholar-athlete as a senior.
• Hubbard was invited to the Junior Rank National Proving Ground camp that invites the top 300 underclassmen in the country.
• He was ranked among the top 100 players in Orange County by OCVarsity.com.
• Hubbard also was a star on the track and field squad, winning the league’s 100-meter title as a senior captain.

Personal
• James Oliver Hubbard is the son Michael and Kirsten Hubbard and has a younger brother and sister.
• Both his father and uncle played lacrosse at Maryland.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
