Biography

As a senior (2019)

• Missed the entire season due to injury.

As a junior (2018)

• Saw action at wide receiver and on special teams in all 10 games.
• Caught two passes for 17 yards and added a pair of tackles.
• Blocked a Harvard punt that was returned for a touchdown as Cornell rallied past the Crimson.
• Hauled in two passes for 17 yards at No. 17 Princeton.
 

As a sophomore (2017)

• Played in nine games with three starts at linebacker.
• Ranked fifth on the team in tackles (38), adding 2.5 tackles for loss, two pass breakups and an interception.
• Made a career-best five tackles and broke up a pass while seeing significant action in the season-opening loss at Delaware.
• Earned his first career start at Yale in the Ivy opener, ending the contest with a team-high six tackles to go with 1.5 tackles for loss and a pass breakup.
• Credited with four tackles in the home opener against Colgate.
• Picked off his first career pass to clinch the Big Red’s win over Harvard, adding three tackles to the cause while earning his second start.
• Missed the Bucknell game due to injury, but returned with a team-best four tackles in the win over Brown.
• Had two tackles, including one for a loss, in the victory over Princeton.
• Recorded six tackles at Dartmouth.
• Notched three stops vs. Columbia.
• Credited with five tackles in the season finale at Penn.
 

As a freshman (2016)

• Otolski played in the final five games of the season, primarily on special teams, recording a pair of tackles.
• Earned his first varsity action on special teams at Brown.
• Made a special teams tackle against Dartmouth for his first career stop.
• Also had a special teams tackle at Columbia.
• Was one of the top defensive players on the junior varsity early in the season.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Otolski was a two-time all-state selection, including a first-team choice as a senior at Forest Hills Central HS.
• A three-time first-team all-conference pick, he was twice first-team all-area.
• Otolski served as team captain his senior year while playing both wide receiver and safety.
• He was an academic all-state pick as a senior on the gridiron and also lettered for the basketball and track and field teams.
 

Personal

• Dylan Joseph Otolski is the son of Brian and Mary Otolski and has an older and younger sister.
• His father played football at Butler and his sister, Mariah, plays soccer at Aquinas College.
• He is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
