Biography

As a senior (2017)
• Played in each of the team’s 10 games, rushing for 88 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries.
• Posted two carries for 10 yards and a touchdown in the 2017 opener at Delaware.
• Earned a carry in the Ivy League opener at Yale and again at Dartmouth.
• Toted the football 10 times for 37 yards against Bucknell.
• Ran the ball six times for 24 yards in the victory over Brown.
• Had a 7-yard touchdown run on Senior Day against Columbia.
• Carried three times for six yards in the season finale at Penn.

As a junior (2016)
• Saw action in nine contests at running back and on special teams.
• Carried eight times for 34 yards, caught nine passes for 30 yards and made a pair of special teams tackles.
• Earned two carries for two yards and caught a three-yard pass in the season-opening win over Bucknell.
• Had one 4-yard catch in the win over Yale.
• Recorded two touches for eight total yards at Brown.
• Had a 6-yard rush and four catches for 18 yards against Princeton.

As a sophomore (2015)

As a freshman (2014)
• Played in seven contests at running back to earn a varsity letter as a freshman in 2014.
• Finished the season with 28 carries for 96 yards and caught five passes for 20 yards.
• Ran 11 times for 53 yards and caught two passes for six yards against Lehigh.
• Carried five times for 19 yards in the season finale against Penn.
• Had three carries at Brown and one for three yards against Princeton.
• Ran three times for six yards and caught three passes for 14 yards vs. Dartmouth.
• Saw first career action against defending Ivy champion Harvard, carrying two times for five yards.

At Woodgrove HS
• Sweet was a first-team all-state selection and a three-time all-district pick as a running back at Woodgrove HS as a senior.
• He averaged better than 200 rushing yards per game in his final campaign, compiling 2,676 yards and 38 touchdowns.
• The two-time district offensive MVP posted two 300-yard games and eight contests with at least 200 yards en route to conference MVP honors.
• He was a first-team all-league pick as a senior.
• Sweet posted 1,727 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns while averaging nearly seven yards per carry as a junior.
• Sweet was named first-team all-conference, second-team all-region and honorable mention all-area for his performance.
• A three-sport star, he also started on both the baseball and basketball teams.
• He was an honorable mention all-state baseball player as a sophomore.
