Cornell University Athletics

As a junior (2017)
• Played in six matches, making two starts as a junior.
• Averaged 4.27 assists and 1.20 digs per set.
• Registered double-digit assists three times, including season-high 22 vs. Valparaiso.
• Finished with a season-high six digs against the Crusaders.

As a sophomore (2016)
• Donnelly saw action in three matches as a sophomore, playing against Bucknell, Harvard and Penn.
• Finished the season with one assist and one dig.

As a freshman (2015)
• Donnelly saw action in 18 matches with five starts during her rookie season, splitting time with junior setter Alyssa Phelps.
• Registered double-digit assists eight times, reaching 20+ assists on four occasions, including a season-high 29-assist performance vs. St. John’s.
• Reached double-digit digs three times with a season-high 13 digs vs. Harvard on Oct. 17.
 
Prior to Cornell
• Donnelly was a four-year letter winner at Vanguard High School, helping the team to consecutive Florida Class 6A State Champions  in 2012 and 2013 and a Florida Class 6A State Finalist performance in 2014.
• Following her senior season, she was named a finalist for the Prep Volleyball Andi Collins award, given to the best setter in the nation.
• Served as team captain as a junior and senior and was named the 2014 AVCA Florida 6A Region 2 Player of the Year.
• Was a three-time first-team all-county selection and was named the County Player of the Year in 2013.
• Was named the team MVP as a senior after setting school records for assists (1,157) and assists per game (11.5).
• Played for the Ocala Power United Volleyball club team, serving as team captain for three consecutive seasons.
• Helped the team to two AAU National Championships, earning titles in the Club Division in 2012 and the Premier Division in 2014, as well as one USAV Championship, winning the the National Division in 2013.
• Was named to the USAV National Championships All-Tournament Team in 2013.

Personal
• Lauren Elyse Donnelly is the daughter of Joe and Marny Donnelly and she has one older sister.
• She is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
