As a junior (2018)
• Did not play due to injury.

As a sophomore (2017)
• Saw action in three games as a sophomore, playing against Albany, Dartmouth and Brown.
• Picked up one ground ball vs. the Great Danes.

As a freshman (2016)
• Did not compete during his rookie season.
 
At Mercer Island HS
• A three-year letter winner at Mercer Island high school.
• Helped the team to the 2015 D1 Washington State Championship.
• Was named first-team All-Kingco as a senior, after an honorable mention selection as a junior.
• Named the Mercer Island Defensive MVP in each of his final two seasons and also won the team’s Biggest Hitter Award.
• Earned three varsity letters in football, serving as team captain as a senior.
• Was a two-time  All-Kingco honoree in football and was selected to the Best in the West and BC’s Best all-star teams.
 
Personal
• Kiernan Patrick Coles is the son of Martin and Jennifer Coles and he has two older brothers and one younger sister.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Science.
