As a senior (2020)
• Named an Inside Lacrosse/Maverik Media Third-Team All-American, garnering All-America honors for the second-consecutive year.
• Elected team captain during senior campaign.
• Started all five games on the Big Red defense in a shortened season due to COVID-19, playing in every single contest during his Cornell career.
• Led Cornell in caused turnovers (7) for the second-straight season, also ranking fifth on the team in ground balls (16).
• Averaged 1.40 caused turnovers per game, a mark which ranked fifth in the Ivy League and 52nd in all of Division I at the conclusion of the season.
• Ranks second all-time in Cornell history for career caused turnovers (71).
• Won a season-best seven ground balls and forced a season-high three turnovers against Towson on Feb. 21.
• Scored a goal in the Big Red’s thrilling victory over then-No. 2 Penn State.

As a freshman (2017)
• Had an outstanding freshman campaign, starting all but one game on the Big Red defense.
• Was also a valuable member of the team’s face-off unit, playing on the wing.
• Finished the regular season ranked 19th in the nation, and first among all freshman, in caused turnovers per game (1.54).
• His 20 caused turnover rank 12th in Cornell history for a single season.
• Ranked second on the team in ground balls (41).
• Picked up at least one ground ball in all but two games, and posted a season-high seven ground balls vs. Virginia.
• Scored the first goal of his collegiate career vs. Lehigh.
Prior to Cornell
• A four-time letter winner for the Taft School,
• Served as team captain twice, and led the Rhinos to the 2016 Founders League Championship.
• Was a three-time All-Western New England selection.
• Won Taft’s Lance Odden Lacrosse Award, given to the player that has given the most to the Taft lacrosse program, as well as the Hunter Stonington Award, given to the Taft senior who has contributed most to athletics.
• Lettered four times in squash.
• A two-time captain and was a two-time Founders League all-star.
Personal
• Brandon Michael Salvatore is the son of Randy and Claire Salvatore and he has one younger brother and two younger sisters.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
