Biography

Crimson Cup Award (2019)

As a junior (2019-20)

• Finished fourth in team scoring with a career-high 22 points on nine goals and 13 assists.
• Also posted a plus-7 rating while primarily playing on a line with Kyle Betts and Noah Bauld that frequently assigned to shut down the opposition's top offensive lines.
• Led team with seven power-play goals, which amounted to a total of 0.24 goals per game on the man advantage — 11th-highest in the nation.
• Sixteen of 22 points came in the season's final 16 games, with his 11 points in nine February games tying for the team lead.
• Scored twice in a Feb. 1 win at Princeton to kick off a stretch of three straight games with multiple points.

As a sophomore (2018-19)

• Ranked fifth in team scoring with 21 points on eight goals and 13 assists with a plus-9 rating in 34 games.
• Posted six points with three goals and three assists in seven postseason games, which was second-most on the team.
• All three goals in the playoffs came in consecutive games, including a dramatic goal with 5:41 to play in regulation time to tie the score in the ECAC Hockey Championship game against Clarkson.
• Presented team's Crimson Cup Award, which is given annually to the player who was the standout performer in the season series against rival Harvard.
• Assisted on the first goal and scored the winning goal in the Big Red's 2-1 win Dec. 1 at Harvard.

As a freshman (2017-18)

• Worked his way into everyday role, scoring four goals and adding two assists for six points in 26 games while proving to be one of the most physical players on the team.
• Five of six points came in final seven games of the season.
• First collegiate goal came at The World's Most Famous Arena, proving to be the game-winner in a Nov. 25 victory over Boston University in the biennial Red Hot Hockey game at Madison Square Garden.
• Scored twice Feb. 17 vs. Yale, including winning goal with 1:47 left in the third period.
• Final goal came on spectacular individual effort and wraparound strike Feb. 24 at Union.
• Had assists in both games of an ECAC Hockey Championship quarterfinal series sweep of Quinnipiac at Lynah Rink.

Prior to Cornell

• Ranked seventh in British Columbia Hockey League scoring in 2016-17 with 70 points on 36 goals and 34 assists through 57 games with the Powell River Kings.
• Also team’s leading scorer in his first season in Powell River 2015-16, racking up 56 points in 57 games.
• A two-time alternate captain and also won team's Plus-Minus Award in 2016-17.
• Collect 52 points in 58 games with the Swan Valley Stampeders during the 2014-15 season in final season competing in Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

Personal

• Tristan Riley Mullin is the son of Murray and Lisa Mullin, and he has two older brothers.
• Brother, Jory, scored 52 career goals with Division III Neumann. Cousin, Steve Mullin, played four years at Maine.
• Enrolled in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences.
