As a Senior (2017-18)
• Played in all 33 games, notching a career-high 22 points along the way.
• Scored goals against Quinnipiac (Nov. 3), Brown (Nov. 17) and Princeton (Jan. 5, Feb. 25).
• Netted two goals against the Bobcats in the home opener with one entering an empty net.
• Had five multi-point games, including a pair of three-point outings.
• Tied for 14th in the nation in points per game for defensemen (0.67) and sixth in ECAC Hockey defenseman scoring (17).
• Went on a couple of point streaks, the longest lasting five games from Dartmouth (Feb. 3) through Union (Feb. 16).
• In that span, registered seven points, all assists.
• Appeared in 100th game at Clarkson (10/28).
• Led team in blocks (55) and ended year with a +4 rating.
As a Junior (2016-17)
• Appeared in all 34 games and recorded one goal and a career-high five assists for a career-high six points.
• Saw significant time on the power-play, recording four of her assists while on the man-advantage.
• Finished fifth on the team with a career-high 38 blocked shots and third amongst blue-liners with 36 shots on goal.
• Earned the second multi-point game of her career on Jan. 28 against Harvard, assisting on Cornell's first goal and then scoring the second in the 2-2 tie.
As a Sophomore (2015-16)
• Continued to develop as a sophomore, appearing in all 31 contests and playing an important role in the Big Red’s defensive corps. • Helped Cornell to the Windjammer Classic title, notching an assist in a 4-2 win over Boston University on Nov. 28 before scoring the game-winner in a 4-0 blanking of Vermont the next day.
• Also added an assist in a crucial win over Yale on Jan. 15.
• In addition, finished the season with 28 blocked shots.
As a Freshman (2014-15)
• Played a huge role on the Big Red blue-line in her debut season.
• Appeared in all 33 games, netting two goals and three assists.
• Marked her first-collegiate goal and point in her first home game against Princeton on Oct. 31.
• Netted her first multi-point game against Yale on Nov. 15 with a goal and an assist.
• Finished the year with an assist on Cornell’s game-winning goal in the victory over fifth-ranked Clarkson in the ECAC Hockey Semifinal.
Before Cornell
• Competed with the Toronto Aeros, helping the team to a fourth-place finish in the Provincial Women's Hockey League last season. • Competed on the Aeros' Midget AA team the two previous seasons, serving as captain in 2012-13 and helping the team to both the regular season and playoff championship in 2011-12.
• In 2013, attended Canada's National Women's Under-18 Team Conditioning Camp and was invited to the Team Ontario Final Selection Camp.
• Also competed in rugby and basketball for four years at North Toronto Collegiate Institute.
Personal
• Sarah Donia Knee is the daughter of Peter Knee and Maria Bobyn, and she has a sister and a brother.
• She is enrolled in the SC Johnson College of Business.
