Biography

As a junior (2020)

• Appeared in three games as a junior during shortened season due to COVID-19.
• Tallied two ground balls on the season, picking one up against Towson on Feb. 21 and High Point on Feb. 23.

As a sophomore (2019)

• Played in seven games as a sophomore running on the second and third offensive midfield.
• Registered his lone assist of the season vs. Yale in the Ivy League Men’s Lacrosse Tournament semifinal game.
• Had one ground ball on the season.

As a freshman (2018)

• Saw action in four games.
• Played against Binghamton, Air Force, Dartmouth, and Brown.
• Registered two assists on the year, both coming against the Big Green.
• Had one ground ball in the regular season finale vs. Brown.

Prior to Cornell

• Earned four varsity letters in lacrosse at Allentown Central Catholic.
• Served as team captain as a junior and senior.
• Selected as the 2017 Lehigh Valley Live Boys Lacrosse Player of the Year.
• Named the 2017 All-East Penn Conference Most Valuable Player.
• Three-time first-team EPC.
• Three-time first-team all-area.
• Helped Allentown Central Catholic to the 2017 EPC Championship and the 2017 District XI Championship.
• Led the state of Pennsylvania in points (153) as a senior.
• Named first-team All-State as a senior.
• Was the 2017 "Morning Call" Player of the Year and the 2017 "Easton Express" Player of the Year.
• Also earned two varsity letters in football.
• Was named All-EPC and all-area as a senior after helping the football team to the 2016 EPC-North Championship.

Personal

• Joseph Francis Wolf is the son of Joe and Jeanmarie Wolf and he has two sisters.
• Father, Joe, played football in the NFL with the Cardinals (1989-98) after playing at Boston College, while his uncle, Mike Wolf played football at Penn State.
• Mother, Jean, and uncle, Thom Browne, both swam for Notre Dame.
• His sister, Darcy, played volleyball at Villanova.
• Two uncles, Jim Brown (Drexel) and Chris Browne (Muhlenberg), played baseball and soccer, respectively, in college, while his aunt, Dr. Marybeth Brown (Lafayette), played basketball.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
