As a sophomore (2019)

• Started 37 of team's 38 games, serving as team's primary right fielder and cleanup hitter.
• Batted .219 with eight doubles, one home run and 11 RBI while also ranking second on the team with seven stolen bases.
• Six-game hitting streak from March 30 to April 6 was tied for third-longest on the team.
• Reached base safely in nine straight from March 30 to April 13, ending with 3-for-4 performance at Harvard that included first collegiate home run.
• Was 5-for-12 (.455) with two doubles, an RBI and a stolen base in three-game series Feb. 22-24 at nationally-ranked Baylor.
 

As a freshman (2018)

• Team's primary shortstop, where he made 21 of his class-leading 23 starts across 27 total appearances.
• Batted .136 with four stolen bases, three doubles and a pair of RBI.
• Doubled in first collegiate at-bat Feb. 23 at Texas A&M, then scored team's first run of the season.
• Hit two doubles in April 8 game vs. Yale.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Two-time regional champion, district champion and state runner-up with Reagan HS.
• Named to all-district team three times.
• Earned San Antonio High School All-Star and Texas High School All-Star honors.
• A member of the Math Honor Society and a National Hispanic Merit Scholar.
 

Personal

• Ramon Eduardo Garza is the son of Ramon and Mercedes Garza, and he has two older brothers.
• Both older brothers played baseball at Georgetown. Eldest brother, Mike, played professionally in the Milwaukee Brewers organization from 2012-14 and in an independent league for two years.
• Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
