• Played in a team-best 72 sets, leading the team in points (227.0) and kills (188) while ranking third in digs (181).
• Posted 10 double figure matches with kills, including a season-best 21 in a five-set win over Columbia while adding 18 digs - one of four double-doubles on the season.
• Had 20 digs with 12 kills, three blocks and four assists at Columbia.
• Hit .529 with 10 kills on 17 swings in a win over Colgate.
• Notched 10 kills with 15 digs at Brown.
• Posted 14 kills and 16 digs at Dartmouth.
 

As a junior (2020)

• Earned Fall Academic All-Ivy honors.
• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a sophomore (2019)

• Named second team All-Ivy.
• Appeared in 22 matches during sophomore campaign, starting 21 contests.
• Led Cornell and ranked eighth in the Ivy League in kills per set (2.81), notching a team-high 205 kills.
• Led the Big Red and sat 10th in the Ivy League in points per set (3.07), scoring 224.0 points on the year.
• Also excelled in the back row, ranking second on the team in digs (196) and digs per set (2.68).
• Registered double-digit kills in half of the team’s contests, including a career-high 23 kills against Princeton on Nov. 1.
• Also amassed double-digit digs on 10 occasions, including in each of the Big Red’s final seven contests of the season.
• Collected a season-best 14 digs against Harvard on Nov. 15.
• Continued to improve as the season progressed, securing double-doubles in five of the last six matches of the year.
• Finished the season with seven dig-kill double-doubles.
• Collected 21.0 blocks, nine assists, and eight service aces in 2019.
 

As a freshman (2018)

• Played in 16 matches during the season, including 10 Ivy League contests.
• Ranked fourth on the team in kills (2.45) and digs per set (2.33).
• Tallied double-digit kills on five occasions, including a season-high 15 vs. Brown on Oct. 5.
• Registered double-digit digs four times with a season-high 15 against Yale on Oct. 6.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Baptiste was a three-time letter winner at Westlake High School, serving as captain in 2017.
• Recognized as an Under Armour All-America Honorable Mention in 2017.
• Earned all-state honors as a senior.
• Was the District Offensive Player of the Year in 2017, a first-team all-district selection in 2016, and a second-team all-district selection in 2015.
• Honored as the Team Kill Leader in 2015 and 2016, and team MVP in 2017.
• Also a member of Austin Juniors Volleyball where she helped her team qualify for the Open National Championships in 2015-17.
• Led her team to a second-place finish at the 17 Open National Championships in 2017 while also being selected first team all-tournament.
 

Personal

• Madison Rose Baptiste is the daughter of Reginald and Hope Baptiste and has three sisters.
• Her sister, Rylee, is also a member of the Cornell volleyball team.
• She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
