As a sophomore (2019)
• Played in two matches as a sophomore against Utah State and Penn (Nov. 2).
• Registered first-career kill to go along with a career-high three block assists against Utah State on Sept. 14.
• Notched a career-high two kills against Penn, hitting .167.
As a freshman (2018)
• Saw action in one match during the season, playing against Siena.
Prior to Cornell
• Behrbaum was a four-time letter winner at Mercer Island High School, earning MVP honors in 2017.
• Led her team to the State Championship from 2014-17, taking ninth, fifth, third, and second, respectively.
• Honored as a member of the all-state tournament team in 2016 and 2017.
• Named to the Seattle Times Star Times All-Area Team in 2017.
• First-team all-league in 2016 and 2017 after a second-team honor in 2015 and an honorable mention selection in 2014.
• Elected to the Washington State Volleyball Coaches Association First-Team All-State Team in 2017.
• A member of Sudden Impact Volleyball Club where she was recognized as a PrepVolleyball Star Search Top Performer in 2016.
• Led Sudden Impact to a fifth-place finish in 2016 and a second-place finish in 2017 at the Girl’s Junior National Championship.
• Also helped win the Emerald City Classic in 2015 and take second at the MLK Classic in 2016 as a member of SIVC.
• Behrbaum was also DECA Co-President and an International DECA qualifier, where she placed second in her state competition.
Personal
• Kelly Nicole Behrbaum is the daughter of Todd and Paige Behrbaum and has one older sister.
• Her sister, Brooke, played volleyball at the University of Pennsylvania.
• Her father, Todd, and her uncle, Scott, both rowed at the University of Washington.
• Her great uncle and godfather, Lee Stiles, rowed for Cornell.
• Enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
