• Recorded 36 tackles with 4.5 for a loss, 3.0 sacks and a pass breakup in 10 contests (five starts) at linebacker.
• Earned his first career start in the season opener at Marist and posted three tackles, including one for a loss.
• Made three tackles with a half-tackle for loss at Ivy preseason favorite Yale.
• Notched three tackles vs. Georgetown.
• Had four stops with a half-sack at Harvard.

• Played all 10 games at linebacker and on special teams.

• Had a pair of stops, including one for a loss, against Yale.
• Had one tackle in the win over Sacred Heart.
• Recovered a blocked punt and returned it 15 yards for a touchdown in the win over Harvard, adding one tackle.
• Registered three tackles at No. 17 Colgate.
• Had an 8-yard tackle for loss in the win at Brown.
• Posted a career-best five tackles at No. 17 Princeton.

As a sophomore (2017)

• Played in four contests, primarily on special teams.
• Made one tackle, assisting on a stop in the season finale at Penn.
• Saw action on special teams vs. Colgate, Brown and Princeton.
 

As a freshman (2016)

• Played in eight contests on special teams with a pair of stops.
• Saw action on special teams in the win over Yale.
• Made a special teams tackle in the win at No. 25 Colgate.
• Had a tackle against Princeton.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Bedard was a two-time all-conference and all-region selection at Science Hill HS.
• The four-year varsity letter winner helped his team to three conference and district titles and two regional championships.
• He captained the team as a senior while playing quarterback and threw for over 2,000 yards and 18 touchdowns in his career while rushing for 1,416 and 21 touchdowns as a dual threat who also lined up at running back.
• As a junior, Bedard accounted for more than 1,110 yards and 19 touchdowns with zero turnovers despite missing four games due to an injury on his way to first-team all-league accolades.
• Bedard also lettered in both baseball and basketball, helping the latter to a sectional and regional title and a state tournament berth.
 

Personal

• Justin Robert Bedard is the son of Jeff Bedard and Stefanie Bettens and has an older sister, two younger brothers and a younger sister.
• His father played basketball at Iowa and his mother was a volleyball player at San Diego.
• He is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
