As a senior (2018)

• Earned the start at wide receiver in the 2018 opener at Delaware.
• Played in the team's first three contests before missing the remainder of the year due to injury.
 

As a junior (2017)

• Converted quarterback has played in eight contests, catching four passes for 24 yards and making two tackles.
• Made his varsity debut on special teams and at wide receiver against Colgate.
• Had a special teams tackle in the win over Harvard.
• Made two catches for eight yards in the win over Brown.
• Had a 12-yard catch in the win at Princeton.
• Had a 4-yard catch against Dartmouth.
• Made a tackle against Columbia.
 

As a sophomore (2016)

• Converted quarterback played junior varsity snaps at tight end and wide receiver in 2016.
• Spent several weeks on the varsity travel roster, but not not see action.
 

As a freshman (2015)

• Spent his rookie season on the scout team playing quarterback.
• Saw action on the junior varsity squad.
 

At Orange HS

• A two-year varsity captain at Orange HS, Cloer was named team MVP as a senior.
• Named all-conference as a senior.
• Helped team set a school record for wins in a season as a junior, earning the team's Most Valuable Offensive Back award after tossing 37 touchdowns.
• Helped the team to the state quarterfinals as a junior and senior and posted a two-year record of 24-3.
• Won a pair of league titles as a two-year junior varsity captain.
• He also played basketball and baseball
• Earned all-league honors in baseball for a conference and regional championship team as a sophomore, as well as during his senior season.
• Was all-conference in basketball after averaging a double-double on the court as a senior captain at 11.0 points and 10.1 rebounds per contest.
 

Personal

• Garrett Knight Cloer is the son of Scott and Kristal Cloer and has an older sister and two younger brothers.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the SC Johnson College of Business.
