As a senior (2019)
• Named first-team All-Ivy League.
• First-team Academic All-Disctrict.
• Ranked 25th nationally (second in the Ivy League) in rushing yards per game (92.4 ypg.) while averaging 5.94 yards per carry in nine contests (missed one game due to injury).
• Was 17th nationally and first in the Ancient Eight in yards per carry (5.97).
• Had four 100-yard rushing games, including in three Ivy contests.
• Second in Ivy only games in rushing (92.2 ypg.) and yards per carry (5.7).
• Opened the season with his sixth career 100-yard game, posting 127 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries in the win at Marist.
• Tied a career high with 141 yards on 16 carries at Ivy League preseason favorite Yale, surpassing 1,500 career yards in the process.
• Ran for 65 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries vs. Georgetown.
• Scored a touchdown and compiled 67 all-purpose yards at Harvard.
• Had 87 rushing yards on 17 carries against Colgate while adding four catches for 30 yards.

As a junior (2018)
• Earned second team All-Ivy honors.
• Named first-team CoSIDA Academic All-District.
• Rushed for 710 yards and seven touchdowns and caught 28 passes for 293 yards and three scores.
• Had three 100-yard rushing games – two in Ivy games (141 vs. Brown and 123 at Columbia).
• Scored a pair of touchdowns against Yale, Brown, Dartmouth and Columbia.
• Had 130 all-purpose yards and a touchdown both rushing and receiving against Yale.
• Posted 121 yards on eight carries against Sacred Heart, including an 85-yard scoring run.
• Had 70 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries against Harvard and its top-ranked FCS rush defense.
• Credited with 42 yards on 15 touches at No. 17 Colgate.
• Piled up 141 rushing yards and a touchdown and caught four passes for 54 yards and another score in the win at Brown.
• Had 66 all-purpose yards vs. Penn.
• Had 102 all-purpose yards, including five catches for 57 yards, with a touchdown rushing and receiving against No. 23 Dartmouth
• Registered 209 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns, including 123 rushing yards, at Columbia in the season finale.
• Fifth overall in rushing and scoring in Ivy games with nine touchdowns in seven games.
• Ended his junior season with 10 touchdowns, becoming the first Big Red player to score double figure touchdowns in a season since Shane Savage had 12 in 2011.
• Moved into the top 25 in career rushing at Cornell, ending his junior campaign with 1,233 yards.
As a sophomore (2017)
• Led the team with 515 rushing yards, a mark that was ninth in the Ivy League, and scored three touchdowns on the ground.
• Also caught three passes for 59 yards.
• Ranked fourth in the Ivy League with 6.4 yards per carry.
• Had a pair of 100-yard rushing games (Yale and Penn).
• Had a 90-yard run against Ivy champ Yale – the second-longest run from scrimmage in Cornell history - as part of a 101-yard day on four carries.
• Ran 21 times for 122 yards and caught a 51-yard pass at Penn in the season finale.
• Posted 68 yards on 12 carries in the win over Harvard, including setting up the game-winning field goal with a 33-yard run.
• Recorded 60 rushing yards on 10 carries against Columbia.
• Had six carries for 65 yards and two touchdowns to spark the Big Red’s win over Brown.
• Posted 43 rushing yards on nine carries in the victory at Princeton.
• Recorded a team-best 38 rushing yards on 15 carries at Dartmouth.
• Had two carries for 11 yards and an 11-yard catch in the 2017 opener at Delaware.
• Missed the Bucknell game due to injury.
As a freshman (2016)
• Played in six varsity contests, running twice for eight yards, catching one pass for two yards and returning six kickoffs for 117 yards.
• Made his varsity debut against Sacred Heart with a 24-yard kickoff return.
• Returned two kickoffs for a total of 27 yards at Brown.
• Had two carries for eight yards and caught a 2-yard pass against Princeton.
• Had three kickoff returns for 66 yards against Dartmouth.
• Was the team's leading rusher on the junior varsity before earning a spot on the travel roster.
Prior to Cornell
• Coles was a two-time all-region running back at Fairview HS.
• A four-year letter winner at both running back and corner back, he helped his team to a pair of regional titles.
• Coles rushed for 4,348 career yards in his four-year career with 53 touchdowns, including 2,442 yards and 27 scores as a senior.
• He also ran for 1,448 yards and 22 touchdowns as a junior.
• In his four seasons, including two as the primary running back, Coles tallied more than 5,400 all-purpose yards and 58 total touchdowns.
• Defensively, he made 67 career tackles with six interceptions, 32 pass breakups and three fumble recoveries.
• Coles also lettered four times in basketball.
Personal
• Terrence Harold Coles is the son of Terry and Cherise Coles and has an older sister.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the SC Johnson College of Business.
