Biography
As a senior (2020-21)
• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a junior (2019-20)
• Averaged 16.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 0.7 steals per game while shooting 43 percent from the floor and 72 percent from the free-throw line through 21 game (19 starts).
• Finished the season fifth in the Ancient Eight in scoring and 10th in rebounding.
• Missed six games and a majority of a seventh due to injury.
• Had four consecutive 20-point games dating back to last season (two games in 2018-19, two in 2019-20), tied for the fifth-longest streak at Cornell since 1976 before it was snapped against NJIT.
• Opened the season with 24 points, five rebounds, four assists, two steals and a blocked shot in the win over Binghamton.
• Scored 20 points, including hitting three 3-pointers, to go along with three rebounds and a blocked shot at Bryant.

• Posted 14.3 points in 16 games as a starter (9-7) while shooting .489 from the floor (90-of-185).
• Closed the season with a career-high 31 points on 14-of-20 shooting with seven rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot in the CIT first round game at Robert Morris.
• Hit 9-of-10 shots for 21 points in 23 minutes in the win over Dartmouth to close the regular season.
• Shot .767 (23-of-30) overall and .714 (5-of-7) from 3-point range while averaging 26.0 points over the final two games of 2019.
• Had 23 points and added four rebounds against Delaware and notched a career-best 24 points against Yale.
• Opened his sophomore year with 20 points and seven rebounds off the bench in the win at Binghamton.
• Netted 22 points and blocked two shots at Columbia.
• Had 15 points and six boards in the win at NJIT.
• Had nine points, six rebounds and four assists at Syracuse.

As a freshman (2017-18)
• Averaged 3.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game in 26 contests (three starts) as a rookie.
• Had five points and five rebounds off the bench in 10 minutes against Harvard in the Ivy League Tournament.
• Scored six points, including the go-ahead 3-pointer, and added two rebounds and an assist in the win over Columbia.
• Scored seven points and grabbed four boards in a win at Brown, then scored two points and blocked two shots in the victory at home over the Bears.
• Notched eight points and four rebounds in the triple overtime win over Princeton and six points and three boards on the road against the Tigers.
• Had nine points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots in the win over Central Penn.
• Scored six points with five rebounds and an assist at Columbia.
• Started the first three games of the season for the Big Red, averaging 5.3 points and 2.0 rebounds in those contests.
• Scored 11 points and tied a team-high with five rebounds while picking up a start in his collegiate opener at Syracuse.
• Drained a 3-pointer in front of the Syracuse bench on the Big Red’s first possession of the season on the court named for his father, Jim Boeheim.
Prior to Cornell
• Boeheim was an all-Central New York selection as a senior at Jamesville Dewitt HS before playing a prep season at the New Hampton School.
• He averaged 22.3 points as a senior, making the sectional all-tournament team in each of his final two seasons.
• He was named MVP at the Hoop Hall Classic and Peppino's Classic as a senior while serving as team captain.
• Boeheim averaged 8.7 points and 5.8 rebounds per game while shooting 42 percent overall and 32 percent from the 3-point arc in his final season at New Hampton School.
Personal
• James Arthur Boeheim is the son of Jim and Juli Boeheim and has a younger brother and sister.
• His father is the head basketball coach at Syracuse University and a Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame inductee.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the SC Johnson College of Business.
